Announcements during the GATHERING

(at the start of Peace Church worship services)

• Welcoming everyone to the service in the afternoon.
• Welcoming those who are here for the first time. Invitation to fill in a contact card.
• Announce the children's colouring packs with colouring pages in accordance to the worships theme.
• Children can sit on the cushions at the front
• Announce the playing area at the back for small children.
• Announce Sunday School (and eventually Confirmation Class).
• » Eventually inviting people to communion/eucharist. All are welcome. Briefly explain the procedure.
• Announce the start of the service with introductory music and lighting the candles - both focusing the congregation on God's presence and the start of the worship celebration.
